Beef Bourguignon, Coq au vin or delicious curries, the casserole -or cocotte- is the ideal partner for all (one-pot) dishes that are best after hours of simmering on a low burner or in the oven. The cast aluminum lid is perfect for this, but the casserole can also be combined with the paella pancover. This creates an ideal combination for the oven, AGA or even as a “Dutch oven” in a wood stove or on the hot coals.
